He is married to his wife, Meaza Nigussie Hailermariam and they have two daughters, Abenezer and Bethania.  He is the Founder and Managing Director of Covenant Engineering GmbH. Covenant Engineering GmbH is a German based Engineering company with focus on delivering a turn-key engineering and project management services to its clients around the globe. Covenant Engineering GmbH is already expanding its portfolio in the area of construction, real estate, energy, and technology sectors.                                                                                                                                                                                                      

He has worked on various international projects on largescale construction sites in Germany, Italy, Spain, Great Britain, Lithuania, Turkey, Switzerland, Sweden as well as Equatorial Genia in West Africa, he has got extensive experience in international construction and revitalization of existing buildings.

He is also the author of The Covenant, an autobiography of his journey from a poor kid born in Ethiopia, to unimaginable success as a businessman. He attributes his success and overcoming the challenges he faced on his journey to his love of God.  He attributes the turnaround in his life when he became a Christian.  He is now returning home to Ethiopia to contribute to the sustainable development of his native country by building a multi-million-dollar waste-to-energy plant.
